瑪利亞（達科·布魯·理查 Dakota Blue Richards 飾）的父親身負重債，逝世只留給了她一厚厚的古書《亮坪的歷史》里面記載著月公主與白馬的話。十三歲的利亞變成了孤，來到月亮坪園投靠叔叔本明（艾恩·格法德 Ioan Gruffudd 飾）。然而入住古堡不，瑪利亞就發(fā)怪事接踵而至她的東西總是到處亂放，屋的鋼琴會自動奏，夜里甚至一匹白馬的影在屋外晃蕩…然而對于這些問叔叔卻只字肯透露，瑪利只好偷偷翻閱本被叔叔藏起了的古書，終得知了月亮坪一段久遠的神往事與仇怨，來整個山谷已月亮公主的詛籠罩百年，唯等待一位擁有真心靈的解咒出現(xiàn)…… 本片改編自英國兒文學作家伊麗白·古吉的經小說《古堡里月亮公主》?
